In depth

Verdict

Flowerbud returns from a lengthy absence but is worth a market check. Tom O'Tara has a chance on his second to Moscow Mule at Towcester two runs ago but he'd finished a long way behind MOUNT WELCOME at Worcester earlier. Martin Weston's charge has been beaten twice since and is 9lb higher now but his amateur rider claims 5lb and the soft ground wouldn't have suited over hurdles at Cartmel last time. Walden Prince wasn't disgraced on chasing bow at Huntingdon and has more scope than these, though the handicapper has taken no chances.
