      Verdict

Giles Hawkins has been on board Party Palace for her two recent wins, the latest over course and distance. She finished second on the Flat at Bath 10 days ago and is clearly in good heart and must go close again but there have been signs that Cut The Cards is starting to find his feet and he also goes on the short-list as he wasn't beaten far over this trip at Exeter two runs ago and is 3lb lower now. CAPTAIN SHARPE gets the nod, however, eased in grade. He's won here in the past and is thrown in on his best form. Sun Quest is preferred to Erdeli and Tri Nations of the remainder.
