Verdict

Going For Broke won a Taunton bumper in December and made his hurdling debut at a decent level at Newbury in March, though only beat one home. He has more scope than Irish raider Kilkishen, who has a penalty for winning a maiden hurdle at Gowran in June. SIMON SQUIRREL has been off the track since running down the field in a Listed bumper at Ascot in December but fitness is rarely an issue with one from his stable and he should do well over timber. Act Now has had a few chances while Barranco Valley may need more time.
