In depth

Verdict

PARTY PALACE keeps defying the handicapper and two of her three recent victories have come over today's course and distance. Stuart Howe's mare is taken to grab another success before the assessor gets the upped hand. Dont Take Me Alive is probably the danger having touched off subsequent Worcester scorer Mighty Clarets at Market Rasen last month, though Jaja De Jau went close at Uttoxeter. Mount Vesuvius has shown himself to be better than a plater recently but the drop in distance probably isn't in his favour. Gud Day looks best of the rest dropping back in grade again.
