Secrecy cosily accounted for Balducci at Salisbury but Frankie Dettori jumps ship to Alexandros who sports headgear for the first occasion which raises obvious questions. Kingsfort is the other Godolphin-owned runner to go to post but he has something to prove on just his second start since leaving Kevin Prendergast. The Cheka has run some sound races but has a little to find and more of a threat may be posed by Mia's Boy who didn't run too badly in a conditions race at Doncaster at the weekend. NATIONALISM came up short in the Cambridgeshire but he suffered at the hands of the draw and wasn't given too hard a time once his chance had gone. He was a warm order for that handicap in the weeks leading up to the race and it would be no surprise were he to develop into a Pattern class performer over the next twelve months.
