In depth

Verdict

Sir Michael Stoute has his string in good form at present and having found just Misu Bond too good in the Eurpean Free Handicap on his return, Jeremy has to be respected but preference is for Wake Up Maggie, who gets the vote ahead of Aeroplane. The last mentioned ran well under similar conditions on his only start as a juvenile and made a winning return when landing course and distance maiden. Mobsir has yet to confirm his ability to handle this going, while Spinning Queen is becoming expensive to follow and may be best watched at present. Pacific Pride needs to improve on all known form and a safer bet looks to be Wake Up Maggie. Chris Wall's filly strictly holds Spinning Queen on 1,000 Guineas form and should appreciate this drop back in trip to seven furlongs.
