    Verdict

Very little between the top four on official ratings and whilst Lawyer, a typically progressive sort for Luca Cumani, rates a solid option, it may be worth chancing DOCTOR SARDONICUS on his handicap bow for David Simcock. The Medicean colt has improved with each of three maiden runs and his recent success when repelling Between Wickets at Lingfield may prove a useful effort. A mark of 84 seems realistic and he's taken to build on promise shown to date. Crowdmania isn't easy to catch right but will be a threat if Silvestre De Sousa is allowed to dictate the pace. He's a risky proposition to support but, equally, has to be respected on the best of his form.
