Verdict

A tricky race for punters to solve and marginal preference is for AFRICAN SKIES with Danehill Destiny and Langs Lash the plausible dangers. African Skies is progressing at a rate of knots. Six furlongs at Newmarket may actually prove more of assistance to her than the traditional six at York and on the evidence of her Princess Margaret Stakes' victory, she is a smart filly. Danehill Destiny has a couple of questions to answer. Connections were at a lost to explain her lamentable effort in the Queen Mary and she is surely better than that. Langs Lash has bagfuls of early pace and won the aforementioned race with a fair degree of authority. Whether she gets the trip is something open to question. Please Sing delivered a late blast to land the Cherry Hinton. This race was run at a subdued pace and more will be required on today 's quicker surface. Infamous Angel was second in the Super Sprint at Newbury and attempts to graduate into pattern company. Pennys Gift wouldn't be out of this if reproducing early season form. Maggie Lou doesn't appear good enough on balance. African Skies is selected in a race where there are plenty of imponderables.
