Verdict

A small field for the opener, with plenty of chances, but we'll side with Brae Hill in preference to Imperial Guest and Love You Louis. Well drawn, Michael Bell's gelding will want fast going. He's shown up well in better company than this and sets the standard here. His one win came at 5 furlongs, but another go at this trip shouldn't be beyond him. Imperial Guest and Love You Louis are the only other runners with an official rating. Imperial Guest has won over this trip at Yarmouth while Love You Louis tasted success over the minimum trip at Sandown, but neither's been in contention since at a higher grade and so come back to what is their level. Richard Hannon's got Little Blacknumber running here; a market check's advisory, but we favour Brae Hill.
