In depth

Verdict

Staintondale Lass is up in class from 7lb higher after completing a double at Newbury though her rider's claim is a bonus. Quench Dolly won a couple of minor handicaps in May and shot up the weights but she's been running well and the ground won't be a problem. Summer Chorus won two strong handicaps here last summer though both were on very fast going but Raven's Lady won on ground with plenty of give here last month. Partitia hasn't done as well as expected after completing a double last summer so this offers a chance to CLON COULIS. David Barron doesn't waste journeys so the fact that his filly comes here after landing a maiden at Carlisle speaks volumes and she can retain her unbeaten record.
