Verdict

Salt Island, who won this for Charlie Hills in 2015, had earlier finished fifth in a Listed race at Doncaster and HILARIO has tread the same path. He may prove good enough on his reappearance in a wide-open affair with Ryan Moore on board for the first time. Maiden winners Victory Angel and Akhlaaq will both be winning again this year and have a shout in this along with Castleacre, fourth in Listed company at Newbury in October. The less exposed Rich And Famous is preferred to stablemate Storm Cry and is another to note with William Buick doing the steering.
