Despite his penalties, The Tatling would have claims at his best but normally needs a run or two to put him spot on and a safer bet looks to be Presto Shinko, who is preferred to Les Arcs. The last mentioned has shown improved form of late and has to be respected in his bid for a six timer but this looks tougher than the races that he has been contesting and preference is for Presto Shinko who showed improved form last term and ran as well as could have been expected when chasing home the in-form Border Music at Kempton on his recent return. Old campaigner Quito can never be discounted in this grade but may want a softer surface, while Baltic King is hard to win with. Fire Up The Band may need more time along with Ashdown Express and of more interest may be Cape Columbine, who is less exposed than most. Royal Millennium would want some rain, while Indian Maiden is probably better on a sharper track. There should be no such problems for Presto Shinko though who has the benefit of a run already and gets the vote to go one better today.
