      Verdict

      MUSAAID put a considerate debut at Newbury behind him with an all-the-way victory here last month where he looked a youngster of some potential. He looks the one to be on before going on to better things. Mister Brightside looked certain to win soon after two placed efforts and was found a very soft Lingfield maiden which he won in a canter. This is tougher but he looks certain to give a good account. Gothic Empire easily won a poor Wolverhampton maiden before a moderate run in a Doncaster handicap and the remaining pair look to have enough to do.
