    Verdict

Cyril is chasing a hat-trick under a penalty after winning at Chester while the progressive Newera is upped a further 7lb after scoring over track and trip a fortnight ago. Raw Impulse had the Luca Cumani-trained subsequent winner Monotype back in third when winning a maiden at Nottingham in May. That should give the Bedford House resident a good line on BERMONDSEY's chances after the latter opened his account over a mile at this venue last month. A half-brother to a winner over 1m2f, he may just edge a competitive handicap.
