      Verdict

Both Sudden Wonder and Rock 'N' Roll Star made their respective debuts at this track and showed some promise despite not threatening the winner. The former makes most appeal of the Godolphin-owned trio with Mickael Barzalona on board and he should have the measure of the others with experience. The newcomers Mahsoob and MUNJAZ have a lot in common. They share the same owner and trainer and both have entries in the leading two-year-olds' events later in the season. Paul Hanagan provides a clue to their relative merits by choosing the latter and son of Sea The Stars gets the nod.
