In depth

Verdict

This looks like a race where the betting will provide clues. Rock Jock won a Listed race at Chester though that was over 6f over two years ago. He's rated a massive 16lb higher than anything else in the race but hasn't been seen since refusing to race in October and has never been beyond a mile. Hevelius is next best on official figures but he's been in very poor form over hurdles and fences so a chance is taken on DUSTY TRAIL, who at least has the winning habit having scored nine times in his career including over this track and trip. Auden won a similar race at Sligo in June though that was on soft ground.
