Verdict

Lay Time made a promising debut at Salisbury in September but hasn't raced since. Encore Un Fois is also likely to need his seasonal reappearance and Grandad Mac is another best watched after a lay-off. RAYMBEK BATYR couldn't quicken with the first two when third on his debut at Doncaster but wasn't given a hard time of it in the closing stages and that kindness can be rewarded today. Danehill Dante, another son of Danehill Dancer, has raced over further so far and looks a little one-paced. He may have to settle for a place again here.
