Verdict

Stan Moore's Second Encore has shown progressive form in maidens, winning well at Nottingham two starts ago, but she may be a shade high in the weights for her nursery debut and a better bet looks to be Richard Fahey's NORMANDY MAID, who stepped up from her debut effort at Catterick when winning well at Thirsk last month and she looks worth siding with for her first outing in this grade off a mark of just 71. Ed Dunlop's Volcanic Dust came good when beating Johnny Hancocks at Brighton earlier this month but a 6lb rise since then makes this tougher and of more interest may be Loki's Revenge, who lost no caste in defeat behind Millyluvstobouggie on the Polytrack at Lingfield recently. Alan Bailey's So Is She is lightly raced after just four starts and seems reasonably well treated of a mark of just 70 so is another to consider.
