    Verdict

It may be a bit Silaah to overlook Dandy Nicholls' recent winner, but we will plump for course and distance lover SEAMUS SHINDIG. Amy Scott gets on well with this son of Aragon, and he certainly wasn't disgraced behind Esteem Machine here last time out. He won here back in August of last year and off just a 2lb higher mark he is fancied to run well. Neil Callan looks an interesting jockey booking for Tudor Prince, Highland Harvest is holding his form well and seems to have gelled with Rab Havlin, whilst Sweet Gale is a very consistent mare and rarely runs a bad race. Irish raider Royal Intruder won on his last jaunt across the Irish Sea so commands respect, as do Devil You Know (back over preferred trip) and Last Sovereign (back to what looks a winnable mark). Diriculous finished ahead of the selection last time but it is slightly disconcerting to see blinkers applied, and so in an open race it is Seamus Shindig who can get back to winning ways.
