Verdict

Karl Burke won this with subsequent duel Group 1 winner Quiet Reflection in 2015 and True Mason drops back down in trip after placing in the Mill Reef at Newbury. He had earlier finished third in a Group 2 in France when in front of Pocket Dynamo and should make a bold bid. The latter’s best effort so far came at Ascot when narrowly beaten over the minimum trip in the Norfolk Stakes but SERGEI PROKOVIEV makes most appeal. The Ballydoyle colt has struggled in Group 1 events over 6f since placing i the Coventry at Ascot but had shown bags of speed when landing a double over 5f in Ireland earlier including a Listed race at Naas and is preferred to stablemate Fantasy. Well Done Fox has won a couple of Listed events over 5f while Poetry is on the upgrade but raised in class after winning at Chantilly and the remainder are harder to recommend.
