      Verdict

Another very competitive maiden and Takhleed is taken to beat Notnowcato, Paper Talk and Cashier. Marcus Tregoning's colt made quite a promising debut in what has turned out to be a very useful novice race on the all-weather at Lingfield and However, he carried his tail awkwardly and dropped away to finish last on his only other outing at Newbury. That was a decent race though and the experience will not be lost on him and we should see a different animal this season. Michael Stoute is represented by Notnowcato who put in two solid displays in a couple of hot races at Warwick and Salisbury, he will be hard to keep out of the frame today. Paper Talk should be the best of the Barry Hills pair as he finished placed in two strong maidens last term. Meanwhile Cashier may do best of the others having finished a close up third on his only outing last term at Doncaster. There could be some future stars come out of this race and we expect Takhleed to be one of them.
