In depth

Verdict

Only One Legend, War Valor and Dorchester are the trio to concentrate on, with the latter taken to add to his recent course and distance victory. Bill Musson's six-year-old was suited by strong handling a fortnight ago when beating Parkside Pursuit, with War Valor back in fourth. He meets the latter on only a pound worse terms and should maintain the form, especially with Pat Eddery once again in the saddle. Only One Legend needs covering up, but will also benefit from having Kieren Fallon doing the steering. The champion won on him at Lingfield in March and renewed acquaintance at Pontefract last time when the pair were staying on after having to switch at the start of that five furlong contest. They are the main contenders, but Dorchester gets a solid vote.
