      Verdict

      Attraction, unbeaten in all eight starts, can land another Group 1 victory at the expense of Soviet Song, Favourable Terms and Baqah. This race was targeted by connections of Attraction even before she had disposed of her fellow three-year-olds in the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot, and she is taken to prove that she can better her elders as well. Mark Johnston's stable star meets older opponents for the first time, but judging by the way she galloped her rivals into submission last time, she has not stopped improving. Despite her less than fluid action, she is able to adapt to whatever the pace and quicken up in a matter of strides, and once she hits the front today it is hard to envisage Soviet Song catching her. There has been plenty of money over the past few days for James Fanshawe's filly though, and it must be pointed out that she was only beaten a head by Saturday's Coral-Eclipse winner Refuse To Bend at Ascot, but even so, she looks destined for a place again on these terms. Favourable Terms lines up on the back of securing the Windsor Forest Stakes at the Royal meeting but will have to match that and pull out a bit more, while the French challenger Baqah might be taken off her feet unless the rain arrives in time. Godolphin have really bounced back to form so Tizdubai is worth a mention at least, but she did not show too much on her turf debut at Epsom and it would be a surprise if she, and indeed any of the other three-year-olds proved up to the task of stopping Attraction from making it nine in a row. She is confidently expected to beat the four-year-old Soviet Song before being aimed at the Breeders' Cup Mile in Dallas in October.
