In depth

Verdict

Most of these have struggled to get their heads in front this year but Colonel Frank was successful over 6f on the July course here in August and Sir Titan too advantage of some leniency from the handicapper to score over track and trip in September. Swift Approval won at Newbury in June and was placed twice off this mark in September. Jim Crowley should get a tune out of the seven-year-old while Howzer Black has been a model of consistency and will be aiming to go one better than at Ayr a month ago. Richard Fahey’s pair, Dance Diva and Zap, should also be thereabouts but we’ll give the nod to PRESIDENTIAL as he is back on the same mark as when landing this 12 months ago and has been largely keeping better company this year.
