      Verdict

      Peaceful is interesting in this as, despite Donnacha O’Brien having to wait for a gap to appear, she quickened smartly at Thurles and landed the odds with any amount in hand. Further improvement can almost be guaranteed but ALPINE ROSE (NAP) should take all the beating if reproducing her third to subsequent Fillies Mile winner Powerful Breeze in the May Hill at Doncaster. The Godolphin filly had won her maiden on rain-softened ground on Town Moor earlier so conditions won’t be a problem. Run Wild has coped well with a step up in grade since winning at Kempton while Born With Pride must be held in high regard to be making her debut in this grade.
