Having run in a Listed race on her debut, My Lovely Lesley was dropped into maiden company when opening her account last time but that was not the best of races and she may be worth taking on with the vote going to Indian Ink, who is preferred to Satulagi. The last mentioned should appreciate the drop in class having contested the Albany Stakes last time and has to be respected. The Clive Cox-trained Hope'n'charity could be anything having won her only start so far, a Leicester maiden, in good fashion. Kevin Ryan has had a good season with his juveniles and Eliza May has done little wrong so is another to consider but preference is for Indian Ink. The selection could not have won any more easily at Newbury last time and this has been the plan for Richard Hannon's filly since winning that contest.
