      In depth

      Verdict

Danawi is entitled to be thereabouts on the pick of his form but Richard Hannon's colt has had plenty of chances and is probably best left out of calculations with preference for Falmassim, who gets the vote ahead of Rogue. The last mentioned ran better than expected at Haydock last time and would have claims if able to reproduce that effort but she may well have been flattered by that effort and is probably best watched. John Dunlop's Good Companion is entitled to improve further but needs to if he is to take a hand in the finish, while Sudden Edge gave little sign for encouragement on his return in a handicap but may strip fitter for the run. The vote though goes to Luca Cumani's Falmassim, who looks to be going the right way and he may only need to reproduce last time out form to win this.
