ETON RIFLES should relish these conditions so despite with a bit to prove off this mark he can return to winning ways ahead of the consistent bottom weight pair of Espero and Skyfire. A winner of a heavy ground maiden and having consistently performed well when there is some give in the ground the pick ran encouragingly from a similar mark on his return from a lengthy break and now that bit fitter should put up a big display. Espero is now racing from a mark 2lbs lighter than when last in front and with that coming at Wolverhampton he should handle softer ground while Skyfire has found just the one too good on his last two runs including when the ground was easing last time and with his stable still in form should run his race again. Internationaldebut need to be considered having gone close off this mark a few times in the past but Eton Rifles is unexposed enough to improve again on ground he loves.
