In depth

Verdict

RUN TO THE HILLS was beaten only a nose at Kempton on his debut. George Peckham’s colt may prove good enough in this given he finished ahead of today’s rival Marbooh. The latter has since been placed at Salisbury and is preferred to the returning trio First Wheat, Never Give In and Regal Response. Eisha Flower showed some ability when second on her racecourse debut at Ripon last week while Godolphin’s $300,000 purchase Trenches is a half-brother to winners in the USA and is preferred to fellow newcomer Arrest Warrant.
