    Verdict

Rocket Ronnie will enjoy the soft conditions more than most and is only 4lb higher than his latest victory at Nottingham in October. He was a bit unlucky at Beverley on his reappearance and has to be a threat to all. Snappy Guest scored at Windsor last summer on ground with some give and has continued to perform with credit at this level. SEVERUS won six races in Germany, almost all on soft ground. He did much better on his second start for new connections at Kempton and, with conditions in his favour, can land this. Lord Reason gained his first victory at Brighton before stepping up to 1m2f on a return visit where he could only stay on at one pace. Honey Badger dropped down to this trip for the first time on Turf at Yarmouth and gained a comfortable victory, though this is a slightly higher class event.
