Verdict

DAKOTA GREY (NAP) didn't take to fences and has taken a long time to get his confidence back but did better at Carlisle earlier this month and is on a nice mark so looks the one to be on. Bering Upsun has yet to win but showed improved form on his handicap debut at Carlisle and should have a bit more scope. Morning With Ivan won a handicap at Cartmel last year and was having her first subsequent start when battling to victory at Market Rasen last month. This is a slight step-up in class and she's 7lb higher but she should get into contention. Nailer should have some improvement in him though he's high enough in the weights for his handicap debut and Catchthemoonlight looks more of a threat after a very good run behind Our Valentina, who runs earlier, at Carlisle.
