In depth

Verdict

The southern stables have strong claims here with Greenwich Meantime, Hayaat and Stolen Hours all boasting excellent credentials, and it's the latter that gets the vote. Ed Dunlop's colt is improving with every outing and over a longer trip last time just failed to catch Condoleeza and Land 'n'Star. The drop in trip shouldn't be a problem and he will take all the beating. Henry Cecil's Greenwich Meantime has shown good form on all three outings, and a recent second to Gold Ring at Kempton puts him in with a chance here. Hayhaat's recent effort behind Kristal Dancer was given a boost by the winner on Monday so must be considered a threat. However Stolen Hours looks to have the best overall form and is a confident choice.
