      Verdict

Only one favourite has won this in nine years. ADIATOR was successful a year ago and reappeared with a fine run at Beverley last week where she didn't get the best of runs. She's 3lb higher here but looks capable of completing a long-range double. Lorimer's Lot wasn't too far behind last week and can do better as she also suffered in-running but Lady Ibrox looks held. Irish Girls Spirit was in tremendous form late last summer and was very impressive when scoring at Hamilton but a 10lb rise and the fact that she's only ever won at class 6 level may prove too much on her reappearance. Ella's Delight raced over 6f last season and was staying on over this trip at Hamilton last time so another furlong may be required.
