DISCRESSION was racing over this trip on Turf for the first time when running out a decisive winner here last week and a 6lb penalty appears unlikely to prevent a quick follow-up as there looked plenty more to come. Able Master also runs with a penalty after scoring over the trip on fast ground at Musselburgh. That was a higher grade event than this and another big run is anticipated. Triple Eight scored over the trip in Ireland but has been racing over further recently. He was having his eighth start since May when storming to victory at Musselburgh and the assessor has had his revenge with an 11lb rise so it's no surprise to see him running here with a penalty. Dr Red Eye has won twice on soft ground and once on Fibresand but it was faster going when he ran really well at Epsom last month and Declan Cannon's claim should help him go close.
