Verdict

OPERATION TRACER stepped up to this trip at Brighton and very nearly lost his maiden tag but was run out of it close home by Scarlett Fever. He's been raised 4lb and this is a slightly better race but he's probably capable of further progress and gets the nod. Almuftarris hasn't recaptured his early season form where he was successful on Polytrack but he's dropped in the ratings and just gets into this handicap. Vital Calling hasn't had much experience and has looked one-paced over a mile so a step-up in trip may suit and he's one to note. Party Line has only raced on fast ground once and was well beaten. She's done better over further and though Outlaw Torn has won over a mile here he was beaten in a seller on Monday.
