Verdict

Lucky Lodge remains 7lb higher than November’s success at the track and could only manage third behind Epeius over course and distance last month. The latter is only 2lb higher today but DAWN DELIGHT is less exposed. Hugo Palmer’s filly struggled over 7f last time but easily won a novices race over track and trip before that and there should be more to come now handicapping for the first time. Deeds Not Words’ winning run came to end here last time when Tommy G was also well beaten and Jack The Truth may prove a bigger threat back over 6f today.
