ORCHID STAR landed the odds at Chelmsford on her reappearance with a facile five-length success. A penalty looks unlikely to anchor the Godolphin filly in this with Quila Saeda looking the main danger. The latter won over 1m2f in Germany last summer for Andreas Wohler’s powerful yard and debuts for new connections today. Al Daayen and Lizzie Loch made only modest debuts while the newcomer Farrdhana is a half-sister to a couple of winners on the all-weather.
