In depth

Verdict

Ocean Cove is not an easy ride but responded to Paddy Brennan’s urgings when holding off GLENO on the run-in at Doncaster last month. However, the latter is now 4lb better off and must have a good chance of reversing the form. Jersey Bean was in excellent form before the turn of the year but looks a few pounds too high on his return to action. Corrany may be more interesting having got off the mark over this trip at Huntingdon, ahead of Old Rascals, but a rating of 135 looks harsh. Hereford winner Minella Bobo looks the pick of the remainder along with Admiral Barratry.
