      Verdict

Battlecry is sure to be popular here for the Twiston-Davies team having chased home Good Company over 2m4f at Ludlow last month, though the winner has let the form down since. Gallant Approach won between the flags at Didmarton earlier this month but fellow veteran King Harald clearly isn't the force of old and former Henrietta Knight inmate Ice Bucket also appears on the downgrade. Lord Ryeford is another whose better days are probably behind him so TURKO receives a tentative vote, even though there's always been a question mark against his jumping and he unseated his rider at Sandown last time. The nine-year-old probably has more natural ability than his rivals in this however.
