Verdict

COCKNEY TRUCKER ran another cracking race in the County Hurdle at Cheltenham and deserves another success. Philip Hobbs' nine-year-old's only previous win over hurdles came over this C&D and he is clearly still in excellent heart. Featherbed Lane might prefer softer ground but McCoy's presence in the saddle should be noted and Sunley Peace, a useful stayer on the Flat in his prime, is probably nicely treated on his win in a novice event at Wincanton. The Cayterers also scored at Wincanton on his most recent outing but this is a much better race and he is 10lb higher now.
