Verdict

Parish showed little on his debut and Major Mac is probably best of those with experience but that's not saying much. So the way looks clear for a newcomer to make a winning start with Smart and Copperopolis both related to winners and likely to give a good account. But PERRAULT is also a half-brother to three winners including the smart Qushchi and Ralph Beckett's colt gets the speculative vote to come out best in this.
