In depth

Verdict

Elas Ruby has the beating of Royal Melody on these terms. But the former was still beaten over six lengths when fourth at Newmarket last time so one of the newcomers may well be up to landing this. CRIMSON ROCK stands out among them given the $1 million yearling is a half-sister to the Group 1 winners Peeping Fawn and Thewayyouare - Ralph Beckett’s filly gets the nod. Serenada and Silent Approach are both related to Group 3 winners while Katabatika makes more appeal than stablemate Star Rock.
