Verdict

This is a further step up for MASTER BAKER but he won easily at Taunton, despite finding the trip too short, and is in better form than most of his rivals. Southfield Vic was no match for Shantou Flyer at Fontwell and is not the force of old while Forgotten Gold finished tailed off at Doncaster, though should strip fitter here. Village Vic is having a first run in almost a year and showed little last season. With doubts about the trip as well, David Maxwell’s mount looks worth opposing.
