Verdict

Goodnitesweetheart won over this trip at Taunton last month but steps up a grade off a 7lb higher mark. Poperinghe Ginger has squandered much easier opportunities but Eva's Oskar has been lightly-raced and was second over 2m4f here last time. He’ll go close if he stays while Ballyart was too keen last time at Market Rasen and could be in the firing-line if he settles better. We’ll take a chance on PERFECT PIRATE as he was in front at this trip last time at Sedgefield before blundering his chance away. Blinkers seem to have made a difference and this drop in distance should suit. Vango De Vaige may have needed his latest outing but does have a bit to prove now.
