My Sharona made a decent start to her career when fourth in what appeared a decent maiden at Salisbury two weeks ago but she may struggle to overturn that form with runner-up Rafaella, who has just as much scope. Mention probably has to improve on her fourth at Lingfield to get competitive here, while Cashmere Or Caviar was a little disappointing on debut at Windsor and Michael Hills has switched here to stable companion Jungle. The latter may prove the pick of the newcomers alongside Marco Botti's Kune Kune but the vote goes to CRISTAL GEM. Richard Hannon's filly ran green on her introduction at Lingfield but was only beaten half-a-length and will know more here. Haydock third Lady Gibraltar looks the danger if reproducing that run on her third start.
