Verdict

An interesting contest with several lightly raced and progressive types on view including Dhabyan. Ben Hanbury's charge looked most unlucky when repeatedly denied a run in the Solario Stakes late last month. The son of Silver Hawk looked the winner on merit at the Esher course and is the TEAMtalk selection to gain compensation. Captain Saif has won both starts in the manner of a useful juvenile and will appreciate the step up to a mile while narrow Leicester maiden winner, Cat Ona High, is another who can show further improvement for the extra yardage. Recent Newmarket winners Quartet and Saturn along with the promising Irish raider Warhol make this a fascinating encounter.
