    Verdict

Another tough race to call here with very little form to go on but the principals look to be Held Captive, Kirk Michael and Cactus Rose, and the narrow vote goes to Held Captive. The selection is well related, hails from the family of Red Racketeer, is reportedly going well at home and under conditions that should suit looks the one to be on. Kirk Micheal rates the main danger on his latest second behind Supersonic Dave, at least he has experience on his side but that form is nothing special and he is taken on with this in mind. Cactus Rose is another well-bred sort that could go well but her stable's runners usually improve for their first run. Of the remainder, Parisian Dream hails from a yard in form and could go well at a price but in a race where the market will be very informative, for the winner we return to Held Captive.
