Verdict

Chief Spirit had four lengths to spare over the slow-starting Rembrandt at Salisbury in October but it would be no surprise if the latter reversed that form today. Ice Lord was only beaten a head by Mutakarez over 7f at Doncaster in October but INTILAAQ's third at Ascot a month earlier looks better form and Roger Varian's son of Dynaformer is taken to open his account today. Keble, who hails from last year's successful yard and was third at Newcastle in October, is also worth a second look while debutant Prefect is by Paco Boy and related to a couple of winners.
