Division Two of the maiden can go the way of ALMUKTAHEM, being prefered to Dreamcoat and Prince Of Johanne, even though this contest is rarely won by a debutant. This race comes with the caveat applied to many maidens though, and that's to check the market, seeing as seven of the scheduled runners are seeing a track for the first time. Sir Michael Stoute's colt could be anything, but the breeding suggests a promising future, with plenty of group race wins in the family. Support would be encouraging, and Sir Michael's three year olds are going well. Dreamcoat drops down in trip from his recent run here, when he attempted to make all before finishing just out of the frame. he'd come on from his debut though when he missed the break. Prince of Johanne will also qualify for handicaps following this run, and he's getting the hang of things; trainer Jeremy Noseda's won this race before at a big price, and he's getting a few winners with his three year olds. One of these could spring a surprise on debut; Truly Asia could be interesting, having cost ¿160,000 as a yearling, but tentatively we'll side with Almuktahem.
