Verdict

A modest novices’ hurdle by Newbury standards and HARAMBE will probably be a short-priced favourite. Second over this trip at Warwick in November, he didn’t appear to get home over 2m4f here last time and warrants one more chance. Sunday At Augusta was thrown in at the deep end at Ascot on his hurdling debut and should find this company more to his liking. Howling Milan has shown some ability while Point Taken, a winner at Dundalk on his only run on the Flat, is preferred to Kyllachys Tale and Clearance of the newcomers. Oscar Maguire is the most interesting among the remainder.
